Yes, I know this is late. I hate it when life gets in the way of doing things I want to do. Anyway, this is the mid month KAL for MonthlyDishcloth group I belong to. Once again, I used the wrong cotton. I think it would look better in a solid.

On an extremely bright note...My new DGD was born last night at 8 p.m. She weighed 5# 15 oz and was 19" long with a full head of black hair. Mom, Dad, Big Sister and Baby are all doing great. I cannot wait to get my hands on her. I think I will call them right now and hopefully hear a wimper or something from her!

WOW. This KAL really tried my patience. We learned a new stitch as is the case with all mid month KALs...the dreaded p2tbl. I viewed the video a billion times, and visited the frog pond about that many times! I could get the concept of the stitch, but couldn't always get both stitches together. I finally got it. It looks good. Would I do it again? NO!
Until next time....

This is the KAL I did with MonthlyDishclothes, a group on yahoo. It was the first KAL of the month. I like the pattern but wished I would have used a lighter color. I sure went from on extreme to the other this month, didn't I? I used the cotton I won in a Bingo game from another group. I don't know what it is as the band was removed, but it was easy to work with and doesn't feel as stiff as the cotton I normally use. I think this one will go to my Grandma when I pick her up for an overnight visit in a week or so. She will like it as she is my biggest fan when it comes to my crafting.

This is a KAL I did with Love2Knit_dishclothes on yahoo groups. I really needed something bright and cheery after all the snow and wintery weather that just would not leave. Bright I got and then some!

We finished the March KAL today and I finally figured out what it was. I had help in deciphering it though. One of the ladies in the group told us. Then I had an “Ahhh” moment. This was the first time I knitted on the diagonal and I am going to do this pattern again. Since I know it’s a bunny, I probably won’t be using green again!!! I’m thinking my Mom might like this so I will knit her one for Easter.
I have so much knitting to do right now. My daughter asked for another blanket for the baby, plus I want to do the 5 Hour Baby Sweater and I have a pair of socks on the needles. Too bad I have to work because I might be able to get all this done if I didn’t!!
Better get busy…
